My name is Jenni Jones and I teach the classes and workshops at Yoga Bumps and Babies. I have taught yoga since 2000 and specialised in pregnancy yoga when I was pregnant with my son Jacob in 2004. His birth inspired my work in Liverpool with Mums to be and I went on to train as a doula or birth assistant. Being a doula has shown me how every birth is different and each one has taught me something new. My passion is helping women to prepare positively for pregnancy, and for the birth which is right for them.
I trained with Birthlight as a perinatal, baby yoga, postnatal, fertility and well woman yoga instructor.
I trained as a Dru yoga teacher in Australia. My doula training was with Michel Odent at Paramana doula.
I am a nutritional therapist.
I am also a trained Birth Story Listener, a therapeutic process to support women healing from a difficult birth.
As time rolls on I experience more and more the importance of women helping women. The connections we build in our years of having our babies can span a lifetime. Having women to journey alongside as our babies grow can be a real support. Women have a tremendous inner strength and a huge resource of energy which is what helps us, in many cases, to spin so many plates in this modern age. I hope that in my classes, women are welcomed and supported and celebrated to be simply themselves. The only thing I ask is that we gather with open hearts and minds and a willingness to let go and take space to be just that...true to ourselves.

"I would recommend this so much - Jenni Jones is an incredible inspiration, a wonderful teacher, full of fun, love and childlike glee! I went early this year and it was liberating, soulful, funny, heartwarming, profound, restful and joyous. Set in the stunning Snowdonia National Park with the most incredible and abundant veggie culinary delights ( seriously I stuffed myself!) this is a wonderful opportunity to get in touch with yourself and what really matters. You don't need to be practising yoga to attend, these workshops are accessible to all and give a really deep and honest break from the daily grind - you don't know how much you really need it until you start to truly unwind! Jenni really taps into feminine energy and it was so lovely sharing this experience with so many beautiful, open people. The things learned and experienced in this Workshop still ripple through my life which is so much richer for it."

"I cannot recommend these Yoga Shakti retreats enough with the beautiful Jenni Jones. I have been on a few of these weekend retreats over the past couple of years and they are such wonderfully nourishing weekends, which leave you feeling completely revitalised. Jenni Jones is the most amazing yoga teacher and expertly guides you through a fantastic weekend of yoga, meditation, relaxation and walks in the beautiful Snowdonia valley. There is even the opportunity to do barefoot yoga in the woods, paddle in the river and dance in the moonlight . To top it all off the food is absolutely delicious and the setting breathtaking. Perfect to help you let go of daily life stresses and reconnect with yourself and nature."

"This is a beautiful retreat in the windswept wilds of Wales. Its not just an opportunity for some great yoga classes, delicious vegetarian food, and time to spend with friends, this is more. Jenni offers a space to connect with earth and sky, inviting this beautiful landscape into our yoga practice, bringing healing and renewal. It will leave you feeling energised and ready to come again."
